space pirates they're called okay pirates pirates space pirates that's okay um so basically

um all you do you all your Cadets all different colors so you got um the basic Cadette which is gray and then you got

your ens which is I believe yellow red and orange I think that's all head so

but only the certain colors can do certain room actions so the Reds can um I think move so you can move your ship

and the yellows are for Tech so you can upgrade your ship get cool Tech and then

you got um Grays which are just repair any damage on your ship and they can't do but they're pretty useless but the

other colors can repair and there is another color for fighting so firing weapons to kill Pirates but um you

basically you assign them to what you want them to do and or you put them on away missions I would definitely class

this game as a very top end lightweight to medium you can get it done in an hour I think once you know how to play it um

but um it is quite crunchy for what it is um it's not a high scoring game you only get like 30 points or 40 points or

something like that but um it's good fun um so you you assign him to the to the rooms and then you have to exhaust them

into the queue so you got to think about your next turn on what kind of a colors you want back um but during the game you

can get medals which will up you can like promote them or you can change the color so on the first you a free action

basically but then you can get end end score and VPS for how many Pirates you've destroyed but you got to hold them in your Caro Bay but then when you

those that don't know what the undaunted series is it's basically World War I or whatever setting it's set in it's a deck

building game where you've got little um kind of units and squads on on the board

and you're playing cards to activate those units like orders you're issuing orders to those units to either move them shoot them uh Scout uh kind of

ahead on on the map and all sorts of different actions that you can kind of trigger off your cards and you've got

cards that are related to those units and you've also got kind of leader cards that aren't but they're just like behind the behind the scenes just doing all the

you know sipping the glass of wine but you know whatever they're doing pushing the little you know the little yeah

pushing the little unit pushes pushes yeah all of that kind of stuff and uh and they're the ones that can kind of bolster more troops I.E get more decks

in uh sorry more cards into your deck and the kind of rub of the game is that you you draw four cards and you always

picking one card for initiative so every card's got an initiative number and value and it's the a gunner or a scout

that and actually activate that unit on the map so you kind of in this turmoil already at the start going I want initiative because it's so

important to have initiative because you get first off the the the blocks and you can start shooting your enemy first and

decided to to play and I said Rob I don't know if you'll like this or you would enjoy it but I thought I'd give it a go and we had a we had a game and uh

off we went but the Legacy element is that you kind of have your upgrade deck you got a lock deck and you got a

reserve deck and so as you play the scenarios as your dudes get shot um and

uh as your dudes do really well in the scenario you you'll end up upgrading them and and it's quite nice cuz the

artwork on the card so even if you've got like three Gunners in your deck each card is a person it's got a name on it

and it's kind of like oh it's Volo or or whatever yeah and and you go I remember

then you're replacing those tirs with the ones from the reserve and then therefore what was giving you a good
